Clinical Manifestations
Symptoms

Abdominal pain
Typically begins with a vague pain at the belly button.
The pain slowly migrates to the right lower quadrant.
Accompanying symptoms

Nausea
Vomiting
Lack of appetite
Fever
Abdominal swelling
Constipation
Diarrhea
Blood and/or puss in urine
Signs
Pain becomes more severe over time

Painful to move, breath, cough, sneeze, walk, etc.

Localized tenderness
& muscle guarding

To decrease pain, individuals are often seen lying on their back with their knees flexed
